This Blog is my attempt to raise awareness about Chemical and Process engineering, its impact on the global arena, what it means for everyone, what it is for developing nations, Africa and (proudly!) Zimbabwe, who is affected by the field, who isn't (no one really) and pretty much any and everything there is to it.
It serves to introduce you to a relatively less common and unappreciated engineering discipline, commonly misrepresented as abstract, attempting to explain its relevance and practicability in simpler terms.
It also touches on the global issues of global warming and energy generation, the future of energy, how we can play a role and many other interesting topics along process and energy engineering, simplifying them for everyone's understanding.
To practising and aspiring engineers it is a forum for engagement, to those outside the profession a platform to understand, be intrigued by and possibly (hopefully) consider joining the profession!
